Need help with MedLit? Email contact@stvya.com and include your device type, operating system version, the action you were taking, and any error message. For a paper issue, include its PubMed ID (PMID) or link. Please do not send sensitive health information.

Search or papers are not loading

MedLit gets search results and article data directly from NCBI. Check your internet connection and try again. A request can also fail when NCBI is unavailable, rate-limits traffic, or does not have the requested record. For persistent problems, send the search term or PMID and the message shown by the App.

Full text is missing

MedLit shows PubMed Central full text when the record has an available PMC version. Many PubMed records have only an abstract or citation. Open the paper's PubMed or DOI link to check the publisher's available versions and access conditions.

Saved papers and history

Saved papers and viewed-paper history are kept on the device. You can remove an individual saved paper in the App. There is currently no separate control to clear viewed-paper history. Deleting and reinstalling the App clears its local data unless a device backup restores it. MedLit does not have an account that can recover this data on a new device.

For PubMed or PMC record corrections, use the original source's support or publisher contact. MedLit cannot edit NCBI records.
